In years past we have had serious photographers come in during the holidays to do pet photos with Santa. The turn out is moderate, but on the day every a year another place does pet photos with Santa and an old Polaroid camera. I think the perception of having a high profile photographer scares people away thinking it is going to cost a fortune.

This year in a moment of delusional confidence I said, “why don’t I do it?” The reality of it is starting to set in, and anxiety is a little high. Some people have the ability to jump in feet first and learn as they go. Unfortunately I am not a person who can do this easily. It’s not that I don’t think I can manage this two day event, I just want the customer to get something they can really be happy about.
